Anti-Multiple Sclerosis APIs

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an immune-mediated central nervous system disease characterized by the immune system attacking the myelin sheath surrounding nerve cells, resulting in impaired nerve impulse conduction. Common clinical manifestations include blurred vision, abnormal sensation, muscle weakness, balance disorder, fatigue, and cognitive dysfunction. When the condition is severe, patients may have severe symptoms such as difficulty walking and urinary incontinence. There is currently no cure for multiple sclerosis, but medication and rehabilitation can be used to control the disease and relieve symptoms. Commonly used APIs for MS treatment include fingolimod, teriflunomide, natalizumab, dimethyl fumarate, and glatiramer acetate. These APIs can modulate immune system activity through different mechanisms, and reduce inflammatory responses and nerve damage, thereby alleviating the symptoms of MS and reducing disease progression.

Protheragen-ING offers a full range of anti-multiple sclerosis APIs to support customer research worldwide.
